Pithy excerpts, personal learning, and mentions of "Baha'i" online
This is a wonderful photo, I have some nice photos from my pilgrimage with my lovely wife last May. The Holy Places have a deep affect on my heart. Thanks for reminding me of that. Also thanks for your encouragement on my blog I appreciate the diversity of styles and approaches that Baha'i bloggers are using to advance the mission of the Baha'i Faith. Awesome!Keep on bloggin' brother!
What a beautiful garden! Baha'i architecture is very very beautiful!
George,After following your blog for about a week I think I understand what you are doing here - it is brilliant, encouraging and a great service. Thanks so much for reaching out and making me aware of what you're doing here! Breathtaking photo-jay (s b)
They are beautiful, but they are more than just for the eye to behold. Baha'is don't just "make nice gardens," for their own sake. :)Baha'i architecture is the physical manifestation of the spiritual reality that God has brought about through Baha'u'llah's Revelation. Among other things, for example, the Terraces of the Shrine of the Bab, in Haifa, display physical changes that represent the profound revolution that His Revelation has brought about in the Spiritual World, and which will, in the fullness of time, as Christ Promised in His first advent, bring about the Kingdom of God on Earth.
I love your explanation, Barmak. I must do a post on it.
Great articles thereon in Baha'i World volumes and also on the Terraces website and on info.bahai websites... im justa plagiarizer of the House of Justice!!! :D :D :D :D
